Written requests for refunds must be postmarked, faxed or electronically submitted 30 days prior to the start of the conference. No refunds will be made following that date. Cancellations are subject to a $25.00 processing fee.

Hardship cases (i.e., illness, death in the family, etc.) may be submitted to the ABOS Board of Directors for determination of whether or not portions of conference fees may be refunded (i.e., what cash outlay has already been made on behalf of the person.)


The Association of Bookmobile and Outreach Services (ABOS) continues to monitor the rapidly changing situation related to the spread of COVID-19. We realize the COVID-19 situation is extremely fluid and we will continue to monitor the situation closely as the 2020 ABOS Conference approaches.  We will be working with our partners to implement all appropriate sanitary, health, and safety measures at the 2020 ABOS Conference. We anticipate that those measures will include all attendees wearing facemasks, daily temperature check upon entering event space, and completion of health questionnaire upon onsite registration to name a few.  We also encourage attendees to follow guidelines recommended by the U.S. Department of State, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO). While at the event, you will be expected to comply with all health and safety requirements communicated by the ABOS Board of Directors or the applicable venues. Failure to comply with those standards may result in removal from the event or venue.


In the event that the 2020 ABOS Conference is cancelled or converted to a virtual conference due to COVID-19, refunds will be distributed to conference attendees and/or vendors. Refunds can be allocated to the online virtual conference, based upon the decision of the attendee and/or vendor, with the remaining funds distributed to the conference attendee and/or vendor.
