Presented to a library, department, or an individual who has provided exemplary library Community Engagement services to their community
in any outreach capacity.

The complete nomination should include: 

• The nomination must detail the nominee's exemplary Community Engagement service. Community Engagement encompasses all outreach efforts, including but not limited to bookmobile services, pop-up libraries, book-bikes, community partnerships, and other outreach efforts to serve the community.  Please explain how the unique contributions the library, department, or individual has made to their community.

• Two letters of recommendation. 

The winner receives complimentary conference registration to attend the ABOS Annual Conference the year they are selected.

One Community Engagement Award will be presented in 2026.
