Morgan Strickland, Board Member at Large '27

I started my library journey in college at UNC–Chapel Hill, where I studied English and Creative Writing and discovered my love for libraries as welcoming, community-driven spaces. I now work with the Walton County Public Library System, where I helped build our outreach department from the ground up and launched Words on Wheels, the county’s newest bookmobile, bringing books, programming, and resources directly into communities across the county.

I’m passionate about inclusive outreach, lifelong learning, and creating meaningful opportunities for people to connect, and I’m honored to continue this work serving as a Member-at-Large on the ABOS Board of Directors.
When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me off on an adventure with my two dogs, Smokey and Bandit.
