Sheri Miklaski, Treasurer '28

Chair, Finance Committee

Sheri (she/her) was born and raised in Detroit, and entered the world of public libraries in 2010 as a second career after being a bookkeeper and office manager for many small businesses and non-profits for more than 20 years. She has been a Public Services Manager, Assistant Director, and Library Director. Sheri's heart is in Outreach and she loves bringing the library resources and community to those who have barriers to visiting the physical building.

Sheri has been the Community Outreach Librarian for the Georgetown Public Library since December 2017, and has grown the team from a solo position to a strong, but mighty, team of four. She has served on the ABOS Conference Planning (2020), Membership (2024), and Finance Committees (2025). She received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan (Go Blue!) and her Master of Science in Information Studies from the University of Texas at Austin (Hook 'em Horns!)
