MMI Award (Me, Myself and I)

The MMI award will  be presented annually to an individual who displays an outstanding work ethic which includes ambition, confidence, dependability, determination, and eagerness. The candidate should also have a vision for expanding outreach and/or bookmobile service for the betterment of their community.

This candidate must be a solo outreach and/ or bookmobile team ( Me, Myself and I ) who performs any or all of the following:  (but not limited to) 

• Vehicle driver who operates the vehicle and performs pre & post trip inspections 
• Performs or monitors all maintenance and cleanliness of the vehicle 
• Performs library clerk duties, such as ordering, processing and weeding of materials
• Manages schedule and the implementation of new and current stops and locations 
• Performs various types of outreach programs including storytimes, senior programming and school events 
• Manages and attends any community events.

Available to all library staff/job classifications. Must have at least one letter of recommendation, and a minimum of 5 years. This award offers a free 1 year membership to ABOS.
